11 days and counting for Bodog Western Union - anyone else?
I made a Western Union withdrawal at Bodog on Jan 20th. It was processed that night and I was told to wait for a confirmation number so I could get my money.

11 days and 2 e-mails questioning later, I still have no money, no confimration number, and assurances from Bodog that everything's hunky-dory. Has anyone gotten their ** withdrawals from them lately?

I asked them ahead of time and they said it would take 2 weeks for wester union????? Hmmmm....

I went for the courier route and they said that takes one week.

maybe they are slowing the western union payments on purpose so people will use courier?

Note of interest: They block the word "western union" in the chat boxes of the poker site. lol makes you think they don't want people using that service.

Bodog is WAY BEHIND from what I hear. I have friends who've been waiting 10 days for Western Union control numbers. They're getting pounded with withdrawals.

I believe they are trying to dissuade people from Western Union because they handle the fees and its likely gotten very expensive for them.

I'm sure it has. I requested a FedEx a few days later and it got here Monday. I offered to have my withdrawal cancelled so that I could get it via check, but apparently it's in the system.

Yeah, it didn't take them long to figure out that thousands of people withdrawing via Western Union = $$$$ in fees they were covering.
