Hey did Gard grab Howard after his bush league move? It was strange to see him walk up to Howard like he was mad at something? Agreed. howard could have just pulled his team off the court. or left without shaking hands and addressed it after the game. i do not agree with gard's explanation of the 10 seconds, the game was over and if they cannot get the ball across? they do not belong on any roster in the big10

I suspect he’s not going to be back for the rest of the season. I could see them saying regular season and then if they win maybe he was a problem anyways, if they lose they aren’t going anywhere either. I don’t think he’ll get fired, although he did have the incident in the big10 tournament last year.

I think it would be perfectly normal to lose your ish at Big10 ref…if he did that, I would have no issue. I’m actually surprised nobody ever really does. Prob a combination of not wanting to lose your job and the knowledge that you’ll get those calls back when you are the home team…unless you complain too much…

Yeah probably but what isn’t being said is how some of these big ten schools are mad at him for coming in and quickly recruiting guys away from other big ten schools. College coaching is full of big time egos across the board and Howard smashed Wisconsin twice last year, one game where they were up 40. And look at that game, Howard didn’t call one timeout late in that game.
There’s no doubt in my mind Gard likes to needle his opponents because he’s insecure. I bet he doesn’t do it again to Howard though
