    Beat the Prick Questions ?
So, it looks like we need account numbers for 15 books ( Looselines is used twice).

It appears 5k will be distributed each week to posters that beat the Prick, right ?

I assume this is paid at the book of the week.

Does one need to active at these books to receive the full prizes ?

It's going to hard to dig up some of these old account numbers.

Yes, each week 5,000 is split up for the book of the week. You dont need to have money or deposit in the accounts, just need to have one or sign up to one. Hope that helps out.

OK, but we need all these account numbers before week #1, right ?

I see it runs 15 weeks, aren't there 17 weeks off the season, so no contest for the last 2 weeks ?

No. I think you are allowed to add books as the week goes on. You will need to add the book or click the no prize/free play button for the week before you are allowed to make selections.

Sorry but I'm going to coat-tail on this thread with another question which may have been answered but I didn't see it.

Bodog, which doesn't take Canadian accounts, (and therefore can bite me) was one of the books when I looked. Have you figured out how we can continue to play that week or are we just being shut out?

Not sure about this here. I think if you have Loose lines you aren't allowed to play the Jazz for that week. Not sure, my friend was trying to sign up, but they wouldnt let him add another account.

Edit: Bodog now accepts Canadian players.

This is not supposed to be so. We have spoken to Jazz and players are allowed to create an account at each book, but a week+ ago there was a software problem preventing the sign-up. I am told this has been fixed, but if your friend has a forum name feel free to have him PM me and I'll speak with him to troubleshoot.

EDIT - I was replying to MS' post but Lou jumped in there.

I dunno about that. I have both Looselines and Jazz accounts. But that goes back years.

Hopefully SBR can make it so those who want in the contest can just play. It would seem very messy if people who are trying their best to go along with whatever they are asked to do, are shuffled in and out week-to-week because the contest has rules which are impossible.

You may enter your account # for the round prizes each week to make picks. You must have the Grand Prize (Bookmaker) account in the system though for the season ending prizes.

The contest ends on Monday December 21st after 15 regular season weeks.

Okay. That is probably what it was then. I will let him know and then if any problems tell him to contact you. Thanks Lou.

I can confirm that. I just spoke to them and they do take Canadian accounts now.

Sorry, I should have checked before I spoke but they didn't for so many years.

Each week you will pick 4 games NCAA/NFL. You mark one down as your best bet which will be worth 2 points. The other 3 games will be worth 1 point.

The Prick picks 4 games as well, 1 being the Monday Night game. You wont be allowed to pick these games. After he makes his picks, it will unlock to let everyone else pick games. Your goal is to beat him for the week. If you tie him you will lose.

If you go 2-2 but win your best bet, then you have +1. The games you lose, you minus 1 or 2 if you lose yoru best bet. Same goes for him. Hope that helps out.

Yes if they all scored 5 points and the Prick had 4 points basically or 3. It is scaled though. If the Prick scores -1 points then people who have 5 points win the most money, and then 4 points, and 3 points..etc. Its not split up equally, but based on your points.
