Las Vegas old-timers , question about the Frontier Casino
Seeing an old picture of the Frontier in a thread here reminded me of something.

Mid 80s inside the Frontier there was a mexican restaurant with outstanding food. Do you remember the name of the restaurant?

FH, I've only been inside The Palms once, did not eat just played some craps and had a drink or two. I stay downtown for the most part these days. Long time ago when I hit the Strip it was Sands, Dunes, Di, Frontier, 'Dust and when I wanted to really step out, Caesars.

That is easy to do! The best everyday food is found in small places mostly unknown to tourists.

Best 2am breakfast is the ham steak one at the Golden Gate. Best prime rib for the money is in Jerry's Nugget, so on so forth.

The prime rib at the 4 queen's is pretty solid. I was told the ribs at Dan Marino's in the Hooters casino were good but what I had sucked a$$. Service at Marino's is certainly sub par as well. There's a few good steak and eggs between midnight and 6 am downtown.
