richard, we never got anything for 10k posts here at sbr. i just got 11k posts now and i got nothing, and even at my 10,000th post 1 month ago, i got squat.. sbr never rewarded us for these milestone posts..

I think it would be nice to boost the loyalty reward a little bit for 1,000, 2,000, etc. post milestones, and a bigger reward for 5,000, 10,000 etc.

They plan to automate this reward system (soon?), so it would take a little extra programming to get it done.

But obviously, most people don't think the points are shit, or they wouldn't be betting them left and right.

Guys the point system is a work in progress. The basic concept is to reward our loyal posters, much like the Bash and all the contests we sponsor. SBR tends to listen to our posters, so it is quite possible that all the feedback (both positive and negative) will be taken into account as we tweak the points system. Nicky, are you honestly saying that in the 16 months you've been posting at SBR all you've ever gotten was an infraction? By the way, my name is not David altho there certainly is nothing wrong with that name. For the sake of accuracy ,feel free to call me either Shannon or Mr. D, whichever you prefer.
