Have someone at a card shop take a look at it to see if you should even get it graded

They can usually tell from the corners and centering

Go PSA and have the shop send it in a bulk grade for cheap, it will still take months

Paid like $30 a card for 2 LeBron Bowman chrome rookies

If you have a few rookie cards of Brady, don't tell the grader that...it will make a difference........................gl

One thing to keep in mind, PSA charges more to grade higher priced cards. You might want to do the $300 Super Express submission(max declared value $4999) since they will upcharge you even if you submit at a lower tier cost. Do a bit of research on your own before sending in, maybe watch a few PSA submission advice videos on Youtube.

Mach, I saw your note. Pulling for you!

Yes, at shows people often ask for a Brady rookie. Some really seek out that Brady Rook.

2000 year card is fairly modern. If your card is pretty clean, you should have a good shot at 9 or 10. Hoping for the best.

Yes, JJ is totally off on this one.

WTF does that even mean? The Brady rook goes for a significant chunk of $$ right now. Enough to pay for several bills.

Mach, appreciate all your posts. Can only wish you the best.

I've attended SOME SHOWS that are Mix-shows, if you will. Half comics, half sportscards. Some big shows where it's half sportscards and half Toys. I have to admit ignorance on the Toy sales, but these guys take it seriously.

I've seen some Toy sellers who have awesome inventories. I know that the Wrestling niche is very strong. I've seen some of the ex-pro wrestlers signing, and the Card dealers tell me that Wrestling cards fly off their table.

At times, some of us have tried to post about Sports Trading cards.

I got back into the game about 3 years ago. Have had some good fortune on purchases. Of course, it's fun, too.

I'm optimistic of rising prices going into 2022. I think we'll also see more divergence on Vintage going up...and Modern staying flat (or going down). But I'm biased.

Stick with low population or numbered cards and you'll be good.

Picked up a Topps Mario Lemieux rookie PSA 9 the other day...only 70 something graded higher.

I TOTALLY believe you that there’s very few graded higher, but where’s a good place to find the PSA high grade numbers for this and other cards? Thank you, and Happy New Year.

                            Happy new Year, Toad!

Many of the different grading sites have population reports of the cards that they've graded. Go to the PSA site and you input the product name and year, player's name and card # and you can see how many are in circulation of each grade. For instance for this Lemiuex card, I'd input:

1985 Topps Hockey Mario Lemieux #9

They seem to be gaining acceptance. Their slabs do not seem to fetch the premium that like graded cards from PSA or BGS do. I don't like the looks of their slabs strictly from a aesthetic point of view.

The last active athlete drafted by the Montreal Expos has retired. Tom Brady was the 507th overall pick in the 1995 MLB draft. Scouts thought Brady had a good build and arm for a catcher

                                          Great stat, Jay.

If Brady did have a real baseball card, that would be sweet.
