#9My point is unless you want to sell now there is zero value in a grade now because if you hold on to it for another 10 years that means jackshit. I mean these cards from a quick look I see 9.5 grades that can't even get a bit at 8k. The market is flooded with these cards. Another reason it makes zero sense to sell now or even consider selling it. The guy is still playing. Cards shoot up in price as the years pass after retirement because less cards are available. You don't sell in a market full of them. Why pay for a grade now?Originally posted by stake1i think it would be good to get it graded, just to have an idea on the quality. the gem mint grade on that card is anywhere from $15-20kComment

Now that i'm in a great place and better off than i was in my 20s and 30s i'm going for the adventure. I have moss rookie autographs i'm sending and peyton manning autographs and ben roethlisberger rookie autograph. #33A PSA 8 sold this month for 1,250.00

A PSA 7 sold for 1,750.00 in November.

Ungraded 600-700. Who knows if they are PSA 5, 6,7,8 ?

Getting it graded is all about intent to sell and the market which swings up and down a lot lately.

Looks like the card is going down as of now but you can't control that.

It's not worth paying for a walk through grade based on resale in all probability.

Foil cards are really tough to find 9's and 10's.

My suggestion: Go to a reputable card shop and ask them for a best guess grade in their opinion. Once you have that, you can figure out what is best for you.

Look on EBAY for this exact card , then go to sold/complete listing and check the box. Final sales tell the story, not what people are asking.

 Good Luck !Comment
