Nevada has a lot of players sitting out on O and also lost their head coach. You have to wonder what motivation they have especially considering they are playing in Michigan. I lean western michigan but no play yet.

Nevada Wolfpack (8-4 SU, 8-3-1 ATS)
When Nevada takes the field Monday in Detroit, the Wolfpack will be a shell of the team that played during the regular season. Coaching changes, opt-outs, and transfers have gutted the roster and staff. It is not unusual for teams to lose their head coach before a bowl game, but Nevada lost more than just coach Jay Norvell. Both coordinators have moved on to other schools, as have several position coaches (offensive line, tight ends, wide receivers, and special teams). The only offensive coach remaining, running backs coach Vai Taua, has been named interim head coach for the game. He played his college ball at Nevada and has been on the Nevada coaching staff since 2017. The coaching departures are just part of the problem. Two-time Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year Carson Strong opted out to prepare for the NFL Draft (he’s projected to be a potential first-round pick). An elite group of receivers has lost four of its top five. The No. 1 receiver, Romeo Doubs, has yet to make it official, but it will be surprising if he plays. Tight end Cole Turner, the second-leading receiver this season, has opted out. Around 15-20 players have entered the transfer portal, including several linemen (offensive and defensive), a few linebackers, a couple of defensive backs, a running back, and a tight end. Without much depth to replace the lost starters, it is hard to say what the team will look like come game time.

There's always the MAC angle too.
OK, backing up the under with another whopping 40 whole dollars on WMU.
I'll ride those Broncos.
WTF, playing with house cash this week.
I'm a sport, I'll give the books a chance to get it back.

I actually like that though for WM. Win only their 2nd bowl ever. Nevada is completely gutted. 6 of 7 top receivers out. Of course QB Carson Strong is out. Top tackler out. 2 starting Oline out. Entire off staff went with old coach. They'll fight but I see lack of depth and situation like Florida/UCF game. Nevada might be close 1H but will wear down w/all these kids that aren't used to playing
Nevada QB is 6'9" too? Nobody and I mean nobody has ever been good at that height? Won't be able to run away? WM will wear them down in a boring game like 31-16 imo

Tough to call.
QB for Nevada is as big as a Wookie but hasn't played a lot. Not a lot of A list receivers either.
All this is factored into the line but I'll try WMU.....home game.

Not if Nevada can't punch it in after being gifted a huge PI it ain't.
My only concern on the under is WMU can pretty much name the number.
