LOL that is why I give them my home number, and keep my ringer turned off. I only have a phone line for the internet so all these telemarketers call and it just rings and rings and I don't hear the ringing. Works great!

if you don't want them too call you, just tell them. The salesperson will add a note and everyone's happy.

There are a lot of idiots out there, they sign up an account online, a rep calls them right away to see if they can help them get started, answer any questions or anything else regarding their site and while I consider that good business, some hate it and are so offended.

Tell them, "hey I would appreciate that you don't call me at this number, just send an email instead"

Some guys just hang up or tell the rep to **** off when they call. why not just be polite and tell them ONCE rather than go through that in the future?

No..but sometimes when they wire you money they reguest your #..when there is a **** up on a transaction..and it happens ( been doing this for longer than you been alive, seen your video young buck)..it behooves you to have the proper info

only reason not to give a real number is if you plan shenanigans down the line..its easier to answer them once and tell them not to call again if you so desire

not you specifically but it's funny that some guys sign up, make their deposit and lose their $$, then get upset that no one ever called and mentioned they were eligible for a bonus or a free entry into a Blackjack Tourney or a free superbowl bet or anything else.

Guys, just be respectful to someone. If you don't like being called, mention it to them. They'd be stupid to keep calling you if you make such a request and they ignored it.

The fact is, the overwhelming majority of the players really appreciated it when someone welcomes them aboard to their new account and offers to help get you started by answering any questions etc. It's not like the rep is calling to sell you a newspaper subscription or something. You opened the account remember.

I have done it for several years. I bet also. 99% of the new sign ups appreciate the quick welcome aboard call and often are stunned that someone actually took the time to do so. Many have told me personally, they have bet elsewhere and not once has anyone called to help them get their credit card through or explain the bonuses.

I guess people just love to complain.

Honesty is always the best policy. Best to just tell them that you don't want to give them your number rather than enter a false one when you are a new player. Be honest. Remember, there a goofs that open up several accounts using different names in order to get bonuses they aren't eligible for. Or they do a ********** and they open another account with a false name again. I can't blame a company for calling to check if this is a real number and real person who just opened the account. It will hopefully be a long term relationship, you lose they keep the $, you win they pay you. Simple. Why falsify or lie?

When books call..it says 0000000 or unknown number...or some costa rican area code..once in a blue moon they have a local call you..then it gets trickier

You shouldn't put too much faith in the call display system, I know you can spoof numbers using a pc, hell even Skype lets you set a display number for call display when calling from a pc.
