We are now at the maximum allowable PPDs, but if there are more PPDs, we will NOT cancel this contest. Instead, future cancellations CANNOT be replaced and will simply be Pushed.

That’s fair. If anyones concerned, pushes aren’t going to win this contest. You need W’s. I know someone mentioned intentionally taking pushes earlier, but I think that’s a mistake.

I think you might mean me. I was saying in certain situations it might be beneficial to push, if you know the rest of the standings. Say I'm 4-0 with my 3*, may well put me in a much better position to take a 1.5* with my last one than to risk a 0*.

Obviously at beginning of the contest it would be detrimental to take pushes, but once you know most of the other results there definitely could be situations where the option to take a push rather than risking a loss could be very beneficial.

I understand that this is getting rough but making entries push is basically eliminating them from winning, isn’t it ?It becomes total luck doesn’t it?
As long as there are games to choose, shouldn’t each team have a chance to play on one? Or, push if they do choose.
Just my two cents.
We appreciate all the hard work you continue to put into this contest LT.
Hope you reconsider though.

if you have 3 or 4 pushes on 2/3 stars, you probably aren't getting in the money, or getting last

not a big deal but certainly not what the rules originally said

i suppose... hopefully there aren't any (or many) cancels going forward

i have to think behind the scenes pfizer (or the us govt) is paying some of these players/teams millions of dollars to cancel... the most evil company in the history of the world

You could request that any future plays come with a back up future play so you don't have to set a bunch of timelines.

I think the taking a push went out the window when people could see line movement to help select plays. It took an original solid play and turned it into a play a lot of people jumped on. Not blaming them, just pointing out the reality of it.

No it is no a sure win, but it is knowledge none of us had when we originally selected right?

I dont think you can add the replacement games like wake rutgers as it’s not fair to anyone who can’t replace.

I WOULD agree if we did not have 35 game minimum in rules. I was looking for non-cancel-contest alternative if less than 35. Next season will make minimum 30 if the world's population still exists.
