Ugh, wish I would have copied this onto the board, sorry boys
Thought I had, must have forgotten to hit submit . Hope some of you got this!!

Two teams with quarterback issues galore face off tonight in Arizona. Expect both teams to put the ball in the air early and often, and this score to soar over the high total.

When you spot a game that looks like it will be high in passing attempts, you should usually take the over, as passes result in big plays and more importantly stop the clock regularly on incomplete passes.

Tonight’s game between the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals looks to have all of the makings of a shootout.

The Packers have expressed concern with their current backup quarterback situation as Matt Flynn is injured and Brian Brohm has not taken a stranglehold on the position in the meantime. Reports out of Green Bay are that the Packers are shopping for a backup quarterback. This game against Arizona should provide one more chance for the Packers to get a good look at what they have so they can make a decision moving forward.

As for the Cardinals, the last game against the San Diego Chargers was a very pedestrian effort. They were able to muster up only two field goals worth of scoring. Kurt Warner had an off day, completing six of 13 passes for 80 yards and an interception.

In the open battle for the backup position, Brian St. Pierre and Matt Leinart didn’t really answer any questions. St. Pierre went six of 15 for 79 yards and an interception, and Leinart went six of 10 for 74 yards.

First and foremost, the most important thing for the Cardinals tonight is to make sure the first team offense is back on track. You can easily chalk up Warner’s last game to “it’s just the preseason”, but it won’t be for much longer. Making sure Warner is ready to compete at the level he needs to be at is critical.

As for when he isn’t in the game, handing the football off won’t help determine who is more deserving of the #2 spot. Both Leinart and St. Pierre should get plenty of throws in tonight, and the favorite for the spot will likely do so with some first team wide receivers.

I’m expecting plenty of big plays on both offense and defense in this one, which should result in a high scoring game.

The Pick: Green Bay Packers vs. Arizona Cardinals OVER 41

    ---

38-10 at the end of the first half. Absolute beast game by Arizona .

Fortunately I don't keep a preseason record so I'm not going to go "counting it a win" after the fact .
