What about the drivers of the trucks that haul the food and supplies. And basically on and on down the supply chain.

You decimate one section of the economy and it has trickle down effect(not that "trickle down" effect either) that leads to consolidation, which leads to downsizing and or businesses closing, which leads to a tighter job market for all those good ole blue-blooded patriotic "I gots a trade job!" narrow-minded azzhats that will do the work at a fast-food restaurant all while talking zhit about the people that work there.
