I know you've said that you can't/won't say too much or that ya don't even know a lot but you're always a straight-shooter and I always appreciated that about you

It's mostly that I have not been told much about the future yet.

Which is normal, that CS people talking to the public get told last, to be fair.

But there is definitely work going on with odds and the book and betpoints and freeplays and bitcoin redemptions. So I am confident talking about those things.

When you buy a business you buy it's liabilities too.

It's good contest winnings will be honored, as they should be, but you can't honor that and then tell winners in the sportsbook or casino to get lost.

I expect to receive my $6000 worth of bitcoin or $6000 in sportsbook cash or some other form of equivalent value.

If this place is to be all legal now with legal books and everything then I would think they have legal obligations to the members. I would spend 10k to make sure I got my 6k out of principle.

The couple of people I have dealt with seem like professionals. I very much doubt they do anything to destroy goodwill with current members.

I think bitcoin payouts as a US operator are a major issue. I think they can honor their payouts for the contest and they can have future contests with cash payments. Paying out for gambling on the site is a problem.

I would not expect that gift cards are sustainable for any period of time but there may be some willingness to take losses for an extended period depending on the financial backing for those involved and their forecast for the future.

Totally agree with you. They want to monetize the SBR community in the long run here, not piss everyone off short term and lose them. At least- that would be good business.

Someone is going to need to post the "new rules" here. Since Tony, Hman, Spider, Genie are all gone, maybe Optional will be able to pin a thread in Pt with what the "new rules" are. Theoretically, should be the wild west here now. anything goes like Btc/Cc/Paypal bets between posters, you name it. but would be proper for someone to let the posters know what will get you in trouble and what will not

Before when there was Btc in the store, Pro's were not allowed to buy another Pro's betpoints. maybe that changes now, if the Sbr store even exists once the dust settles
But clearly I think bets between posters should be allowed since its a "legal" approach now

As an example, I can deposit in West Virginia being in Pennsylvania but I can't actually make the bet until I go to West Virginia. For those who live in states without a book, I would assume they could buy these and load them into a close state and have to make a trip to use them? My guess is that SBR is just going to honor the contests with bitcoin payments and then there will not be any more after that.

Probably also going to be a site redesign once the football contest is over.

Exactly. This for days. Even "co+nbase gift cards" etc. Crypto is perfectly legal. So is offering v+sa or M-C gift cards. Not sure why those ever got banned. We are just using "points" which have assigned value from the website. There's legal poker sites that do the same thing to get around gambling restrictions.
