It seems to me the biggest problem is not SBR, but it is us posters that have expectations of things remaining the same when in fact everything has changed and are expecting the old from the new. It is almost like signing into Verizon mail and wondering where the AOL "You Got Mail" voice went....

Contests (Pick6/College Football/SBR FF/MANY more), "extra" points for going pro trivia, contest entries, other perks, Poker, lots and lots of poker, on and on.

It would sickening to be stuck with over 2k in points, just renewed my pro membership, and be left dead in the water.

That being said, SBR would be dead. The forums are just alt right echo chamber and bad plays now. No redeeming value for that and toting perfectly legal and regulated sites.

Well those expectations were valid until there was going to be a change---the same day it happened. Not really a change, but things were taken away from posters and not replaced. A very vague SBR statement of what to look forward to. Many people owed money or points and absolutely no official explanation of what to expect.

So I don't think your analogy is a good one.

My PRO membership comes up tomorrow. Give me a reason I should set fire to $100. That's assuming it gets renewed because the technical side of SBR is awful. Again with no explanation or promise.

This feels like the time DSI left the Bookmaker group & tried to do it on their own. Completely different experience & customer service along with delayed payments & potential stiff jobs. It seems that they bought the site without actually understanding how it works. I'm not sure SBR even understands how this site works. I think SBR might have sold this thing intending to buy it back later.

In my own career I have been on both sides of the M&A table. On occasion the principals bite off more than the ground troops can handle, short term.
