Pete is a horrible sports gambler and an even worse horse handicapper, and when I say that I mean one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I mean this frigging guy plays almost all straight trifectas with heavy chalk on top, even when he wins the payouts are lousy. Some of his boxing picks were semi decent, but I rarely saw him cash many tickets with any consistency at all.

I would gladly book him and almost let him name whatever kind of rebate he wanted.

I was at turf way when he hit the pick 6. He had 3 partners but walked off with the ticket and had his gofer cash it.

Who cares if he bets on baseball? If he is sharp to pick the right sides then he shoulsn't be punished. Do you think other players don't bet on baseball? How do you think minor leaguers pay their bills with the $15,000 salary they get paid?

Will also add that when he was winning he could be the nicest guy in the world and pose for pictures and talk to everyone. However when he was losing he would tell little old ladies to F off if they dared say hello. I realize a lot of people are like this, but it kind of goes against the image he likes to portray.

Well all my buddies grew up with him. I know a few of his family. His brother Dave coached me in all star games. I played against him in competitive flag football. My aunt ran a bar he hang out in. He never touched alcohol. At one time he knew me or he would say hi without me starting the conversation. So I would say I know him.
