Pete Rose launches Gambling Podcast..solid picks thus far.
Might just have to start tailing Charlie Hustle. 2-1 so far with a brutal beat on the Astros over. Can't be any worse than Against All Odds Podcast with Cousin Sal where all they do is string together a bunch of chalk ML parlays.

Would definitely be interested in his gambling advice, he's not only a sports legend, he was a successful manager so he'll know how to spot advantages/disadvantages that others won't notice - he definitely has alot of sports knowledge that can translate into picking what has best edge.

Yeah like the story about him telling his bookie give me every home team in the American league
Maybe age has given him some wisdom who knows
I still say he should be in the HOF

I probably won't listen, but I'm curious to hear how the picks go.
If anyone plans on listening daily, maybe could start a running thread about them?

Remember when giamatti had all his bet slips? mountains of losers on those sheets. completely agree with you. I mean i loved Rose as a player. as a gambler? fade!!! but let's face it, he will get gamblers to tail his picks, because he is Pete Rose

I guess you don’t know Pete. Guy was lucky to pick 40%. But if you ever need someone to tell you how to stiff a bookie. Or deal some roads he is your man. Also he has other disgusting shit.

Pretty ironic when you have a Proven stiff, scammer, conman, check kiter, "** defrauder", "btc defrauder", "credit card defrauder" taking shots at Mlb's Hit King.
Obvious, broke is jealous he can't pull off what Rose is doing now

Pete is a horrible sports gambler and an even worse horse handicapper, and when I say that I mean one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I mean this frigging guy plays almost all straight trifectas with heavy chalk on top, even when he wins the payouts are lousy. Some of his boxing picks were semi decent, but I rarely saw him cash many tickets with any consistency at all.
I would gladly book him and almost let him name whatever kind of rebate he wanted.

We get it, you hate Brock, your reasons are understandable.
That said, you really had to pull this post of yours out of your ass.
All he posted was “Charlie Hustler”where does that equate to him taking shots at Rose?
Anything he posts you turn into your agenda against him, you got Brock living in your head, may be time to move on.

Pete is my friend.
I will not say anything negative.
I will tell you he likes to play 2 team parlays.
Not my way of betting but he likes to do it this way.
He is actually decent in football.

Definitely some truth to this, but the way Pete bets/structures his wagers he leaves himself very little chance on his rare hot streaks to make up for his much more frequent bad stretches.
Granted my experience with him is more than a decade old, but I still hear enough to know not much has changed. He’s worse than most.

What have we learned here?
DO NOT pay for picks.
Invest time in handicapping your own picks.
Touts are blood suckers on your bankroll.

Out of touch now and irrelevant in MLB. Petey ain't winning shiiit. My take anyways..
I like the guy though as he was hard nosed. Played balls out during his career.
