These are the best baseball players in the world, why let em play in a little league park, Texas has had 6 hits (1 of which was a bunt so call it 5 potential homer hits) and 3 homers, thats 60% of their 5 hits cleared the fence, I mean fuk whats the point of having a park where any decent contact is a homer?

the yankees did what is best for there team.they figure they have home run hitters on there team,so they mad the stadium hitter friendly.dont think there is anything wrong with that.why not make home field advantage, just what it means,HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE

Not sure but homers are going out of this park left and right, if the dimensions are the same there must be some sort of fukin wind tunnel effect or something, Damon check swinged a ball out of right field the other day, idk whats goin on

A wind studies specialist points out that the alignment of the new stadium is slightly different than the old stadium. In the new park, home plate to right field is directly set up west to east. The old park was shifted about 20 degrees in a northwest to southeast orientation. And predominant winds in the area go west to east.

Another wind factor is that the new stadium is shallower from top to field than the old one. That means less deflection or impeding the wind flow into the new stadium than the old one.

And while the posted outfield wall dimensions of the new stadium are identical to the old park, there is a difference in right field. There, the once concave outfield wall is now straight to accommodate a new out-of-town games scoreboard. Six home runs hit this year landed in areas behind this new scoreboard that would have been in the park in old Yankee Stadium.

I also heard during a broadcast it has something to do with the doors on the concourse. When they are open, there's an air stream created that is helping balls carry into that right field porch.
