mouse problems!!!

My mouse will NOT show the pointer while on main screen I am now viewing ....
It works fine if I go to a "black" background ?

It's almost like driving a car blindfolded .
Any ideas how to get this portable mouse back to normal ?

Shut down computer.
Unplug mouse.
Plug mouse back in.
Restart computer.

take it apart

clean out the vaseline and pubic hairs from the inside and the ball

should be fine

abe, if you are watching a movie, sometimes it does that. as soon as you are done watching the movie, just exit out of everything and go back to your desktop and click back on the browser you use. you dont need to restart the computer
