Every AFC West QB besides Lock had over 4000 yards last year.

Fields will be fine, you're reading too much into a small sample, and if DEN's offensive line truly is "not that good" (which I actually disagree with) then Fields would make even more sense. Mac Jones was also on the board.

Bridgewater moves well in the pocket, he’s mobile, but I disagree with you on Fields.

Fields in the Ohio state system almost never had to go through multiple progressions and read defenses which is obviously required in the NFL.

Fields was atrocious in the second half against Indiana, which ran a pro style defense disguising coverages, and he struggled against Alabama as well in the national championship game.

90 percent of Ohio states opponents were garbage, the big ten was not strong when he was quarter back there, and the Ohio state offense, a read option offense, was built on fields running and mostly throwing short passes off play action to wide open receivers. I do not think Fields will be a good NFL quarterback and no Ohio state quarterback who played in this system has been successful in the nfl, fields is obviously more flames than the others, but he still was horrible when forced to read coverages.

Bridgewater is a vet who is mobile and can win, Locked got exposed last year, he had his shot.

Bridgewater is a stop-gap. He'll be good enough just because I expect the Broncos to be a decent all around team, but "good enough" won't hit the ceiling on the spectrum of possibilities. We've only seen a snippet of what Lock can do, he's looked nice in the preseason and like I said, last year was an asterisk with having a new OC and no off season.

Urban Meyer wasn't the coach during Fields tenure. Ryan Day changed their offense. Pro style offense can have a dual threat QB.

Day did not change the offense, I’m he was the offensive coordinator under Meyer and he ran the offense before he got the head coaching job. It’s been his offense for a while and it’s not a pro style offense, not close, that’s why Burrow transferred out.

The former offensive coordinator-turned-head coach is helping Buckeyes QBs finally get drafted in the first round -- and is making sure the position is set in Columbus for the future.

New coordinator Ryan Day — also currently interim head coach — means a different Ohio State offense.

Hard to believe people are this dumb. Anyone who watches Ohio states football games, I watched all of them, knows the offense is read option, not a pro style offense. The articles you linked don’t even come close to suggesting Ohio state ran or runs a pro style offense with day, they just say once Day became head coach he made some minor changes to the offense which was completely read option before he too over.

                            Just stop, dumb shits.

CJ Stroud will be a good successor in Ohio State's pro style offense. You're stuck in the past. Ryan Day overhauled their offense when he took over as head coach. Stroud should be a top 10 pick in a couple seasons.

he transferred out because he was 3rd on depth chart, They also play todays pro style style offense. Mobile qb who can run or throw, Rb that can run or catch the ball.

The NFL game has changed and they are adopting many of the college concepts such as the spread and read option. QBs drafted out of college are stepping in and playing on Day 1 because the learning curve isn't as steep.

Wrong, he transferred because Ohio state only played dual threat quarterbacks at the time.

Thats the same reason Field transferred from Georgia, a team that runs a pro style offense, to Ohio state, a team that doesn’t run a pro style offense.

Wrong. Nagy is following the same script as Mahomes in KC. Fields can atart and will eventually. This has more to do with the organization. They did the same thing with glennon the year they drafted Mitch.

Trubisky only started on year at college and the Bears had given Glennon 20 million so they had to start Glennon.

This is a do or die year for Magy and the Bears front offense, they need to make the playoffs or they will all be fired, and they know that.
