Isn't John Elway supposed to be this be all, end all QB god?
I expect Denver's offense to be a lot of pitch and catch.
Hey, I like Teddy, always have, but let's face facts he isn't a deep ball threat.
"Noodle armed" might be a bit harsh description, but...
Bad news, Noah Fant has a bad leg now.
I expect Jeudy to have a nice season.
Not a big Melvin Gordon fan, he was supposed to be the next big thing once upon a time.
Hasn't worked out that way, so far.Comment -

#20Bridgewater has a very limited skill set. He may be a "safer" option but you have to risk it to get the biscuit. Denver has a lot of talent offensively this year but I don't think TB is the kind of quarterback to take full advantage of it, so it looks like maybe they're content to play small ball and let the defense win games.Originally posted by thomorinoBridge water has had multiple good years as a starter, Locke was trash last year.
Lock had a pretty good rookie year and then entered last year tasked with learning a new scheme under a new offensive coordinator and with little preparation time due to Covid hysteria. The staff's decision to go with a journeyman basically says they're damn near done with Lock, because Teddy is no franchise QB. In that case they should've taken Justin Fields in the draft for crying out loud.Comment -

#24Locked rookie year was nothing special and he only started a handful of games, he was trash last year.Originally posted by Eddy MunnyBridgewater has a very limited skill set. Bridgewater had 2 very good years starting, one with Minnesota, and one with the Saints. I wouldn’t call his skill set limited, he doesn’t throw deep, but he can make the throes you need to win.
Denver has a top defense and they need an offense that won’t lose games with turnovers, that’s what Bridgewater does. Lock can throw deep and stretch the field but he looked horrendous last year, and Denver’s defense is good enough for them to win now.Comment -

#25Denver’s strength is their defense, they need a quarter back who won’t turn the ball over and lose games, Bridgewater should be a good fit.Comment -

#27Has a team ever tried to play with 2 QBs during the game even for 1 play? Like Teddy lines up like a RB and Lock goes under center. This will confuse a lot of teams.Comment -

#29Maybe. That won't be easy an easy task. I have no doubt he has every tool to be elite. But if anyone can blow it, it's the Bears. If he can make it there he can make it anywhere.Originally posted by lakerboyWell you know we will screw him up in Chicago.
Watching draft might, I was sure Denver was going to take him. Bizarre they took a CB. Only answer is the Aaron Rodgers hope and a prayer.Comment -

Worries about his epilepsy
I don’t have epilepsy but I probably would of had a seizure after this crack. The way he finished the game after too was beyond impressive. I think he’s going to have sustained success in the NFL. Let’s see Trey Lance take a shot like that and even come back out for another snap.Comment -

#34Fields didn’t play in a pro style offense at Ohio state and he looked like trash against teams with solid defenses like Indiana, Denver’s offensive line is still not that good even though they have talent at the skill positions, Bridgewater gives them the best chance to win.Originally posted by Eddy MunnyTheir offense has potential to be every bit as good as the defense.
