They just made it clear that if a team has to cancel a game because of an unvaccinated player getting covid-19 the game must be played within the 18 weeks and if not it's a loss( considered a forfeit). Guys who eat 10 hot dogs and are 320 pounds are not getting vaccinated.

SEC and NFL are putting the onus of teams being vaccinated or forfeit/loss/game checks missed on each individual teams. The SEC and NFL just don’t want a repeat of scheduling like both had to deal with last year. This is NOT the medical field/hospital where being vaccinated and working WITH Covid patients is just common sense and a liability issue. This is football. Neither the SEC nor NFL can stronghold players into getting the vaccine. Just not playing/paying them is enough. No one will get cut/fired for not being vaccinated. This really boils down to not having a repeat of scheduling issues like the ones that were encountered last year.
