Are You A Points SNOB?

Just curious how many of you dicks don't dole out SBR points? I'm guessing 85-90% horde them. I don't personally give a rat's ass about getting points, but I think more people should give it up when you get relevant information about a game/match by reading someone's post. I've seen the points count for some quality posters on here and it's atrocious that they don't have more with some of the stuff they put out there that is consumed by the SBR community. I challenge some of you stiffs to step up and give up a point the next time someone's info leads you to a win or to avoid a pick you otherwise would have made. Think it would make SBR a better place. Now resume your porn surfing or Craig's List want-ad perusal.

Totally agree, I have a couple of season long threads going, most notably WNBA. only a couple guys follow... but with the number of views I am SURE other people benefit. And you killed it with your Tennis plays recently. props def needs to be given!

Ok, looks like they changed the wording when a point is given. Used to be "gave a point", now it's just "transfer". Still not very generous considering how many you've hoarded. I've given most of mine away.

Also it doesn't state the reason for a transfer. It could be losing a bet.

You guys do know that these points aren't worth much monetarily? We have people with 10 point bets. How much is that, 50 cents?

The way I look at it, the small SBR point wagers are the way to start. Not everyone has a lot of points and you get more interest by not asking for a 100 point wager, etc. Just my opinion.

I just find it humorous that in a place where people are boasting about placing two dime bets, we have big 20-30 point bets. Wonder if some of these dime bettors are part of the crowd all gaga over these points.

I think SBR is working on something for points like nominating a thread. So that should work well for you guys. Not sure though. Not much info on the points, especially with the recent changes.
