I will probably move to a game model with a timer soon but for now its just leisurely.

I'm all for like a 10 or 15 minute timer for each player. I think 5 is a little too quick, but I could do that as well.

Hour long battle that kept neck and neck after I made an early mistake hanging 2 rooks out to dry.

Just the next game I gave us each a timer with no increments but it should be more than enough time for both of us.

Yisman pulled down my skirt and showed me whos boss. Well played man. Too strained after last marathon game I hastly made bad decisions and Yisman took no prisoners. This game was over after move 8.

well, ryan, you were right not put me #1. Just screwed up and lost. We were playing fairly even until I made a stupid mistake. Then I somehow missed a checkmate threat and lost while actually ahead in pieces.

I took his rook, not realizing he had my king's escape route blocked with a knight.

He saw my thread yesterday and called me up and wanted to play a game.

Sure enough we did and it was a decent match but he couldn't handle the traps I set up.

I wonder if Yahoo! Chess could tell me when my last game was before last night. I saw my record and Elo ranking, but I didn't see a date. Has to be at least five years.
