Is volume way down at books ?
    Any inside info ?

I'd think it is at many places, esp. those that aren't in the loop of transfering with each other.

I don't want to mess with ** deposits so I'm cut off from a few of my old books, but use books I didn't use that much before like Greek, WSEX, CRIS.

Could business be up at books like that ?

Matchbook's volume is way up, but yes volume is down; you can tell from the way the lines are moving.

        About 30% down

People still have money offshore before they blocked payments, once players go broke the volume will even get lower.

fwiw, The poker room at bodog is down around 1/3ish from a week ago. This has had a stong effect on the non holdem games at bodog.

I find myself just giving up books that don't transfer with each other, if I break at a book that doesn't transfer, that's pretty much it for them, maybe forever ?

No good way to fund pretty decent books like Skybook, Wagerweb, Trojan, Jazz, even SIA.

kind of left with Greek, CRIS, WSEX, 5D, and their affiliates like Matchbook, Jam, DSI, etc, very little else.

These hundreds of other books with little besides **, Moneygram and Fedex deposits are going to just get no action as players leave to attrition, or worse yet withdrawing monies.

Then the annual SB exit by many, followed by conceivably an unthinkable number of books closing AND stiffing, bad vibes if that happens, then a whole lot of players that never come back.

Uncle Osama has won more than a battle here, it's a complete victory for the commie gov't bastards.

USA is a complete crap country, it will be overthrown by the rest of the world eventually, like at the end of World War 3.

I'm ashamed to call myself a citizen of the US.

Some Asian books were thinking of taking over US clients, but when they discovered that US wagering is only 1/100th of Asian in volume, they could not be bothered. It is not surprising that books like Mansion will go Asian: www.mansion88.com

Mansion88 is created just for the Chinese players in general. You're definitely right about Asian players, most asian who gamble are mania, they bet thousand and thousands of dollars every hand/bet, especially Chinese players, it's no wonder why Macau overtakes LV in such short span of time.
