These two college mascots were stricken with March Madness on Friday night at the WAC tournament in Reno. During a timeout with 7 seconds left and New Mexico State leading Utah State 70-69, USU's “Big Blue” bull mascot confronted NMSU's “Pistol Pete” and ripped off his fake mustache. Pete chased Blue to half court, jumped on him and tried to choke him. After order was restored, Utah State scored the winning basket with 3.1 seconds left.
