Earlier today all of the professional sports leagues and NCAA had a hearing in front of a panel of 3 judges to argue if Delaware was going to be able to proceed in allowing sports betting by September. Lawyers from Delaware in defense of sports betting were also present. Today's appeal was the last chance for anything to happen that would halt this till December where there is another case arguing over the removal of sports betting from Delaware, however with that case scheduled it was not gonna disrupt at least the start of sports betting in Delaware. From what I've read it looks like everything is still a go. I'm pumped for this because I live about 40 minutes away from Delaware Park. Here's article where you can read more about this.

I can't believe this it just got reported that the judges ruled in favor of the leagues citing that allowing sports betting in Delaware goes against a federal law. I'm absolutely shocked. I thought Delaware was gonna get this. There were radio commercials and billboards I saw that said it was coming in September. The Delaware tracks that were gonna offer this had also gone under millions of dollars to renovate there facilities to upgrade for this. I am ****ing shocked and very disappointed.Comment
