Why are all the high limit rooms filled with Asians?

I've yet to understand this myself.

I've been told that gambling is much more popular there and not nearly as looked down upon as in US culture.

But that does not add up to such a high % of players of Asian decent in the room.

I agree with Mikail. Y'all know very well I do not support stereotypism at all, but, asinas go crazy in casinos. Here all those who either have a mini-mart, a restaurant or any other business end their week having a blast in casinos. They work very hard so they deserve it really well.

It's the same thing in Connecticut. Foxwoods and Mohegan high rollers are mostly Asians. They are cool about me sitting at their tables and I like how emotional they get - it's part of the whole experience.

Wiki's got it at 4.4% with mixed races at 2% of US population, you might be thinking of the blacks which are 13.5% but I've never seen a black person in the high limit room

So true and the sad part is they dont care if they loose! U see 19 yr old grls with 2-10k in there wallets they keep pulling it out like nothing. They just smile talk in there own language and pull out more money. I once saw a woman asain loose 31,000 dollars playing with me at the 100 minimum blackjack table. Amazing

Used to be like best friends with this chinese kid in middle school, would sleep over at his house every weekend, parents ran some type of domino like chinese gambling game and they would bet thousands and thousands of dollars one night I remember his mom won 10 grand and another lost like 7 on a friday night

well here in chicago we have a china town and they have there back room casinos like everbody else .it seems like every superbowl season,they get raided

asians are very bad gamblers in that they dont give a **** about money its like water to them. if any of them employed any type of strategy or bankroll management it wouldnt be so bad.

i wouldnt say that im a bad gambler, it would be interesting to see how i would fare against someone not of asian descent

Asians are bigtime gamblers. Every once in a while you see one come up missing here in Chicago and you just know something bad happened to them. The Horseshoe casino in Hammond, IN has a BACCARAT room bigger than anything I've ever seen in Vegas and it is loaded with Asians everyday. They have eighteen Baccarat tables going round the clock.
