red sox -112 over yankees (1.0 units) - The Red Sox kind of need this game more than the Yankees. And even though we'd prefer to bet the dog in this series, the true point is that the Red Sox kind of consider themselves as the dog. They blew game 1 by giving up 20 runs but they turned it around in game 2 and they should grab game 3. In a series tied 1-1, the advantage goes to the winner of game 2 and since the Red Sox were able to score double digit runs and hold the Yankees to just 1 run, we think they're the clear favorite.

angels +118 over jays (1.0 units) - Just like the Red Sox, these Angels blew game 1. But they turned it around in Game 2 and I think they'll win game 3 and end this road trip on a seriously positive note. You see, they've got a home series against the Tigers coming up and they are going to want momentum as they head into that since they are a divisional leader and their most likely postseason opponent.

They need to start winning and with how they've played out their past few games, you'd think they wee worthless. So who cares about betting on their momentum. But we do like Felix Hernandez at just -137.
