MLB Trend that can put HUGE $$ in your bankroll
This is a trend from over the past 10 years. Go back farther if you would like.

The team that has WON thier division by the largest margin out of all of MLB, has only accomplished the following feats.

5/10 times (50%) have made it past the first round in the playoffs.

1/10 times (10%) have made it to the World Series.

2008 - LA Angels won thier division by 21 games ... lost to Red Sox in 1st round.

2007 - Cleveland Indians won division by 8.5 games . . . Won first round, lost in 2nd round.

2006- NY Mets won thier division by 12 games ... Lost in 2nd round to the Cardinals

2005 - NY Yankees and Boston Red Sox both won the division tied and by 15games ... Neither made it past the 1st round.

There is $$$ to be made betting against the biggest division winner for the series, as they will probobly be HEAVY favorites for the series, just some useful information to look at as we reach the playoffs and World Series.

Seems to be the trend, I can see ALL of these teams leading so far just rolling over in the first round.

Very interesting. I was thinking about looking at the Cards for the world series. Going to be tough to match Carpenter and Wainwright

imagine the Giants getting a wild card spot, and them playing a short series vs Lincecum and Cain ..
