Dang just saw this.
Sam was a true honest man. One of the good guys out there. Never spoke bad about anybody. He loved SBR and put his heart into it. He always made sure everything went smoothly and the bash attendees were enjoying themselves.
This is such a shock! I’m deeply saddened. Just can’t believe it. Was actually looking forward to seeing him soon at the next bash
His wife was always by his side. We need to keep her in our prayers. This is going to be tough for her.
Lou I will help in way needed.

One hell of a great guy. Never got the good fortune to meet Sam in person, would’ve definitely loved to have had a beer with him at an SBR Bash. We had some great spirited conversations about poker on here.
Very tough news to read first thing logging on. Everybody here interacted with Sam in some way, whether you were Pro or not, longtime forum member or newbie. He treated everyone with the same kindness and respect.
My deepest sympathies to his wife and family and his family here at SBR.
We’re definitely gonna miss you around here Sam. Rest easy bro

Absolutely devastated. I was talking to him not long ago on Skype about how crazy life is and now this. At least he got to marry his sweetheart Carol and spend several years together as lovebirds. Gosh poor Carol.

I've only been here a short while in the big picture and wasn't fortunate enough to know him.
All the kind words and comments about helping others, it's very sad reading it but warms one's heart seeing what a good guy he was.

"I am Carol Belila, wife of Sam Belila. Sam was an amazing husband, father and Papa. He passed away on Monday April 12,2021 from multiple medical issues due to Kidney failure. He will greatly be missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind medical expenses that we are not will be covered by his insurance. Anything will help and be greatly appreciated."
