A fraternal organization I belong to donated $1,000.00 towards the travel expenses for the parents of these kids. Chula Vista is a 'blue collar' area and with times being like they are it was hard for the moms & dads to travel to the east coast. The SD Padres gave 10K and several other business helped also.
