For those betting Asian Handicaps in soccer this is nothing new, but the first time I have seen it in US sports. Even shows up correct on SBR odds.

If the line elsewhere is -3.5 this is great, and if -3 is widely available it's terrible.

I guess I don't see why this will attract action.

I largely think it just offers something different. The way they are shading the juice, I don't see them getting a lot of action on it, as you are right, you could do better buying off or on the 3 than the price they are offering. Long term, it could offer bets that are better on one side or the other than the market can offer.
