        Have had it for over 10 years. Worth having - I have needed to call for service help several times where my ass would have really been grass without them.

                      I used to be, but I canceled my membership a few years ago because it wasn't worth it. For towing issues Verizon covers those twice a year through my cell phone contract and my insurance covers any of them after that. With a DUI on my record I get better rates through Farmers than through AAA, and I still get the hotel discounts when I travel even though my card is expired. Just never made sense for me, I guess. Are there other services they have that I'm forgetting?

                        They use to have free travelers checks, but they got rid of those in the last year or so.

                            Bank of America typically waives the fee for travelers checks for me anyway, so I have no issues in that department.
