#72Yeah, when I visited family and friends (around Chicago area) I saw that Horseshoe in NW Indiana had switched to William Hill, but not really, in that they don't even have the WH kiosks and barely have their teasers, etc. Their betting menus are complete sh^t compared to Kambi's (which Draft Kings has). Live betting, teasers at any level since it's based on differing MLs, options for props, etc are 50x better on Kambi. If you like teasers it can be up to a .30 difference. Even straights are better and WH doesn't really let you buy points, which is key because (not stumping for buying points) with the juice difference you can get the better line at Kambi for the same juice.Originally posted by littlekonathe best casino has worst book William hill...Elgin esp with poker
Currently, I think the biggest problem with sportsbooks in the US is the cash and privacy issue. The tracking is preposterous. If guys are making an average man's salary (40k) then fine, follow them. But 5-10k is a relic and from the 1970s and shows yet again how there is nothing so permanent as a "temporary" government program. It's amazing that the Horse Racing lobby got done what they did regarding withholding in 2017, honestly I was shocked.Comment -

#73It's a huge area with some of the best summers in the world, arguably the greatest food, and a legacy city now ruined by the worst pols in any "free" G7 country. I got out of there because it's a joke and before long violence will be even more the norm. I also knew Balmoral quite well (from a distance) but didn't really go because I loved thoroughbreds and not standards.Originally posted by ThaWojAmazing how many ppl are from this area. I left 10 years ago tho had to get out of that shit state.
I miss balmoral tho. Had some good times out there. They used to have $1 beer and $1 hot dog nights. They had a buffet on the 3rd floor dining room which was nice. I had my 18th bday party there lol. I remember getting ryan anderson, andy miller, and Dave magees autographed pictures and program one night. Too many cheaters tho. Ryans dad joe was a juicer. Same with Eric ledford. Always had my doubts about brent holland. I think dale the hitman hiteman was my favorite driver. Del and merv chupp were dirty. Got to see big tom race. Also one of the best trotters kadabra. Plesac as well. Anyone remember super night in September? Big big races. Nothing like standing along the rail and beating it with the program. Balmoral started going downhill when all the big name drivers left to go out east to the big m and yonkers and then over to Indiana. Oh I forgot morgan went to Delaware too.
If you are a suburban dweller and don't take advantage of the city exodus by selling your house and getting the F out of the state, you only have yourself to blame when it's a de facto crime to be white and competent in the future; why suffer through even having to argue with people regarding trannies reading your kids stories at school? People forget what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah (yes it's a type I don't mean literally), so I guess they'll learn the hard way. Remember, don't look back. Inertia is a bitch I've seen boomers and others actively not listen to you when you tell them the times are changing, soon and drastically.Comment -

#74Correct, I laughed when I heard the shilling from the NY guy (who is a crazy communist to boot) ... and I love all tracks and have been to them all. Saratoga is great because it's old and small and local. Aqueduct's racing basically sucks, and Belmont is the same but for big racing days. Give me Santa Anita and Gulfstream any day over those, not even close.Originally posted by Pigpenagree, other than SaratogaComment -

#77Richard M Daley sold the city out. Where the hell is that criminal hiding? White flight is a failure; more kids addicted to drugs in suburbia than anywhere. How do run away from yourself? I have less chance of being a victim in Chicago's worst neighborhood than getting fuked by a bored, suburban cop. Yuppies plan is working, whether you, want to believe it or not.Originally posted by StackinGreenIt's a huge area with some of the best summers in the world, arguably the greatest food, and a legacy city now ruined by the worst pols in any "free" G7 country. #78Only time their in the 80's, trying to make the F G, stuck by floods, couldn't go South to New Orleans. M C Hammer had a philly going vs. the boys, put my last $200 (of my $500 roll) to win at 8/5, the second choice. As the they are leaving the gate, she drops to 4/5, Hammer put $60,000 to win at last second, got back $380 instead $580. Read in the paper next day how he killed the odds. My only winner of that day, and still down $120. Very lovely spot.Originally posted by StackinGreenI actually haven't been to this one, I do like it a lot, though historically I haven't done well betting it.Comment -

#81The McCaskeys have one of the narrower pockets of the NFL owners. It would probably cost at least $2 billion to put a stadium there (may be cheaper these days with Covid to get cheaper labor).Originally posted by d2betsAre you saying they don't want to because of cost, or some other reason? I don't really know much about it. I know it was actually discussed way back when Halas was around.
I don't know though, I live near there and the traffic would be a nightmare. There's Metra, but the capacity on that is limited and already busy. I'm trying to imagine everyone riding Metra there on a gameday. Would be a complete nightmare, even if we're not still social distancing lol.Comment -
