Turning $1k into $10k to invest in a business...

A friend of mine has been begging me to invest in a collection agency that he is starting for awhile now. He wants $10k with a 100% return in 12 months. I dont want to tie up $10k with no guarantee so I said no. But I got thinking and I am willing to set aside $1k, and if I can turn it into $10k in the next 2 weeks then I will give him the $10k because if it doesnt work out then no big deal I only lost $1k in the deal...

So, here goes boys... I got until the 31st to turn $1k into $10k... Lets see what happens...
