Oklahoma (+7) too good to be true?...Fishy line?...what gives?

why is this number so high?.......I just checked and no injuries, no covid issues, no suspensions, etc...(at least none that I am aware of)....the sooners are red hot and have won 5 in a row against quality opponents...and they only lost by a bucket to Texas Tech the first time they played them...and Texas Tech hasn't exactly been blowing anyone out lately...seems to me this too many points for the Sooners and that Vegas and offshore books are practically begging you to take them...So what am I missing?

Not yet...but I'm thinking about it...this line really jumped out at me as a "nail it, pound it" play but then decided to do some research and see why the number is so high for this match up...and I want to see what my fellow SBR brethren have to say about this game and get their opinions, thoughts, comments before I decide to pull the trigger.

yes Reaves is out with covid but he also didn't play in the Alabama game and the Sooners still beat the Tide....they have quality starters who can all score in double figures and depth as well...that is why I am perplexed by this line to see if any additional injuries, covid, suspensions may have arisen since the alabama game.

thanks Brock...I just got done mentioning that...but it's weird how these teams still don't miss a beat without their top scorer and best player...just like last night, NC ST should have beaten Syracuse without their top player gone for the season but the Orange rallied in the last minute to eek out the victory.

Williams and Reaves also didn't play in the Alabama game...other players stepped up....Oklahoma has a deep bench and even with those two guys out, they still go 7 or 8 deep!...others picked up the slack especially Manek...I'm expecting more of the same until the other guys get back from covid protocols...Lon Kruger is still one of the best coaches in the history of the NCAA and I would never count his teams out.

The part that is fishy is that Tech is not that formidable. They have not beat one good team by double digits this year, and seem to always be playing catch-up.

This is pretty much gambling in the modern era 101, here. Took me nearly 20 years to figure it out...If you can see a clear reason why the line is -7.5, but you think Ok is good enough to overcome it (preferably with some angle that is not clear to most), then fire away: that's the good stuff.

If you think OK is plenty talented, and Tech most certainly should not be favored by 7.5 (are confused as to why the line is so high) either stay away or take Tech...(but really take Tech if you got da
stones)
