What can they do to make the nba watchable again

Nobody watches games for defense. The NBA is an 82-game pre-season. Why does anybody watch?

Tune in playoff time and they will play a little defense for you when the games count.

that not true a lot of people watch games for defense, im for one do as you see i play more unders in sports than over.......what you are saying it more sexy for the highlites to get a big dunk ect.

But you need defense to make it interesting.Scoring without defense is like eating your favorite food everynight. It gets boring after awhile.

Yes, the US has been dumbed down. There was no 3-point shot, there no shot clock. There was tons of strategy in basketball. Fans don't like strategy. They like fast breaks and dunks and they like 3-pointers.

If they break out the four corners, you are going to start bitching.

That is what they have to compete with. I don't think Jordan would even be all that good today. He'd be a very good player. He would not be Jordan.

The players just get better and better. Defensive ends play WR now.

NBA was a much better watch without the 3 pt. line. Totals were averaging 222 and the game was actually basketball, not ping pong................

I don't watch sports anymore because I can't take the commercials. I don't like the way the games are played either. But I'm past my prime. The kids want what they want.

That's ridiculous. Jordan would average 50 a game with current (non)defensive rules. Boston, Detroit games had boxing matches break out and fouls weren't even called. Today you bump somebody and it's a flagrant 1.

Dude stop. Jordan shot 49.7% from the field for his career, 50.9% effective shooting percentage (adjusted for 3 pointers). As a shooting guard. Jordan got the shit beat out of him on a regular basis (Jordan Rules ring a bell?). If Jordan, Iverson, etc. got the calls Harden gets today they'd never take a jump shot. Drive, foul, free throw. Repeat.
