Mahomes cleared certain steps Monday, "some big steps," sources told Schefter, but the reigning Super Bowl MVP still must go through other steps to clear the concussion protocol in the coming days. You guys are tracking this all wrong (almost positive). Yes, 10+ years ago, there were less hurdles players had to jump though - and guys came back quite quickly all the time. Then it got real strict a few years ago... but then the rules started loosening up again and guys have been coming back within a week again.

* I have not read an article on this or anything, so I could be in error, but this is what it seems like -- especially for the 'stars.'

Most of these soft millennial and gen z QB's would have been dead meat on the field
back in the day when real football was played.

This is why none of them can hold a candle to old QB's like Terry Bradshaw
or even Brett Favre who had to deal with it to the end.

I don't honestly care if the kid plays. He's got years ahead of him of guaranteed play off runs if not a few more rings. It won't hurt the team/city/fans etc to miss lose this one time to protect the future.

You are always wrong. He did NOT have a concussion. Stackin Green has it right. How effective will he be? Anyone who thinks Mahomes will be 100% is crazy. Will Reid be able to make the necessary adjustments? Those are the major questions.
