I never watch this crap but I turn it on at 11.50 because local news comes on at 12.This time the bad part of religion has reared it's ugly head way too far.Pat Robertson's kid showed two or three younger couples from very,very humble backgrounds that were in huge debt of every kind where their lives were in shambles.These people were very trusting rubes with limited ability who swallowed the american dream rhetoric hook line and sinker.You know,they went out and consumed when Bush and Obama said to spend to stimulate the economy.
The solution was for them to get out of debt by finding good fortune when they donated a nice chunk of change to the 700 Club.Yup,out of the thousands of couples over their head in debt that donated money,they found 3 couples that got lucky and good fortune through dumb luck came their way.They never mentioned what happened to the other thousands of broke couples who donated money and added more debt and heartache to their lives.
The 700 Club in my opinion is worse than a touting service who sells people their mortal lock of the week and says different teams on the same game will cover.The only difference is,the tout says they have inside information on the team and the 700 Club says that they have inside information with God.
