Inste3ad of making a thread every day I will post pertinent articles and comments here, the clock is ticking with arguments in appeals court on the injunction this coming Monday the 24th, hopefully this injunction will get shot down like it should I have two articles this morning to share

This article is the most informative yet as to the restrictions of PASPA and whether or not states could offer things other than strictly what was offered prior to its passage. All though I have read the bill and the wording is hazy at best the states lawyers went and did research on the actual discussions that took place in congress while the bill was being debated and this article clearly shows that the intent of the bill was not to limit the grandfathered states! It really does not make sense as Vegas now offers several betting options not available in the 90's such as advance parlay options and MMA betting etc.

They are still working on them coach apparently 24 hours a day now 12 days until planned launch and 5 until hearing in appeals court

You won't find pics of them because not only is amateur picture taking frowned upon heavily in the casions but because most of the work is happening behind vales of black sheets and it is going slowly. Alot of the work at Delaware Park is already done since they have a vast area for horse betting, tables and tv screens, most of the work is just setting up a seperate teller stable for sports betting and re-arranging and re-routing their security for moving money from vault-to-counter and back.

If you think about it joshw vegas has implemented several types of gambling that were not in place in the early 90's and none of those have been challenged, I think if anything it could be determined picking single games may not be enough chance oriented to meet delawares state constitutional requirements but as far as all other arguments they seem to be mute at this time

I'm trying to be optimistic but when a guy who wrote the bill comes out and says delaware was not intended to offer straight bets the courts will take that into ddep consideration..... I think this guy is taking money as he is a no name ex politician who has no buisiness even getting involved yet he comes out of the woodwork at the last minute? First step is to not get the injunction placed which is what tomorrow is all about but still they could get rid of it after trial in December even if the injunction does not go into affect we will just have to wait and see
