I actually read an article about this about a year ago and it talked about how scarce mail order brides are these days. At one point when women wanted to get out of Communist Russia (and the economy was in the toilet), mail order Brides were a dime a dozen. Women were begging to get out of that country.

Over the past few years the economy in Russia has improved and the women have a lot more opportunities. The women would rather stay in their home country these days then come all the way to the U.S. I guess there are some that still come from the impoverished parts of Ukraine but even those girls are really picky. In the article they flew a bunch of women over to a "party" and it was almost like speed dating. The girls went around and met all the guys and saw if any were someone they would be interested in. It wasn't a sure thing by any means. I guess almost 90% of the time the girls say no way and don't even bother going through with it.

These women are still looking for younger men that are attractive and have money. They aren't just going to jump and move their life for anyone. Mail Order Bride days are going away more and more.

- vegas dave took you up on that awhile back but he still cant get pussy. no i wouldnt pay anything it happened to a buddy of mine. he went to cuba and met some chick and kept going every 4 mths until finally 2 years later he brought her over here. a few years later she had her whole family here and they were divorced and the poor guy is living in a basement now working 60 hours a week to pay his debts lol

not me, considering i never plan on getting married i doubt i ever will, hell it's hard enough for me to support myself living week-to-week, much less paying for wife and trying to help support both of us.

i do remember an old job and there was a supervisor who had bought himself a russian wife somehow, remember people always talking about it behind his back like it was some big deal.

also my bro used to tell me about some old co-worker he had who used to go on trips to the south pacific or southeast asia and talk about all the women he would get/pay for. my bro said he was a short fat bald dude.

got a uncle who owns a business and has a lot of asians work for him. He tried to get another uncle to marry one of his employees so he wouldn't lose them. Actually i think the employee's family was willing to pay a decent amount to someone to help keep their family member here. My uncle who owned the business was just trying to play middle man and offered it to another uncle who he thought could use the money,i don't think he was getting any monetary gain, just wouldn't lose an employee, but the other uncle turned it down anyway.

Nicky, its actually $660, because she splits the Poland Spring delivery and some other misc. stuff with me. That doesnt include groceries but includes everything else...

She would be paying roughly the same amount in an apartment by herself, but this was she lives in a 3 bedroom house with a 2 car garage... If she doesnt like it she is free to move out whenever she wants. A lot of guys I have met make it seem like they NEED a woman to be happy and their life isnt complete without a woman. But I dont get that... I think you need to be happy BY YOURSELF, before you can truly be happy with someone else, AND make that woman happy... And buying her and basically being inferior to her isnt going to cut it...

IF you buy a girl, then she automatically wears the pants now.. she has control over you cause you had to pay for her. if you ever raise your voice at her or don't do what she asks, she will leave you and she knows you want her cause you paid for her. don't ever buy a girl cause they will control you, and you'll be like her dog.

and thanks to you, i am raising GF's rent.. her 400$ is including food, unlike you.. she lives now in a huge apt and i'm moving in a few weeks to a much bigger apt, OR maybe even a house, not sure yet.. she has her own DVD, her own Plasma tv, satellite.. she's got it good..i am raising her 25% to 500$ a month.

Yeah my GF has her own like vanity room and shit too, the third bedroom is smaller so she has all her make up and stuff in there to get ready. The way that I look at it is, if I am not benefiting from the arrangement then I would rather her have her own place so I have privacy and not someone there all the time. Im not going to make it cheaper for her so that she can blow the extra money on clothes and shit. The $600 is worth my privacy and having alone time, so if she decides she doesnt like it she can move out and I will be happy with that too!

No Mames Nicky, only 1k per month.. you have a mortgage or is that rent? I wish mine was only 1k per month. My association fee where I live is $520.00 a month, just for the pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, up keep etc etc...
