Heading to AC tomorrow morning

I'm off the next few days so I'm heading up the road for 2 days of poker, ponies and prostitutes! Woo hooo!!!

Alright, maybe not prostitutes....but you never know. Just heading up by myself for some power poker. One of my favorite things to do. I'll be in the Borgata's room mostly tomorrow and Wednesday night if anybody is gonna be around.

Yeah....I don't really go for the hookers.

I'm no baller by any means. I go straight budget on these junkets. It's about a 6 hour drive. I book a room at the Ramada West or some place in Absecon....I'm paying like $100 for two nights. I don't spend any time but sleep in the room. I stay in the poker rooms about 12-15 hours each day. Treat it like a job. Grind out a few hundred bucks hopefully. It's a fun way to make a little money. Worst case I might lose a few hundred. (But that ain't gonna happen.)Then back on the road Friday morning.

I'll be alright man. This is something I do about 4 or 5 times a year. Then I usually head up there with friends another once or twice and stay at a nice place. And I try to make it out to Vegas once a year with friends too. I know my way around a poker table and play pretty tight in most cases. Usually leave with more than I came with, fwiw.

Can't wait till they get the sportsbooks and poker in Deleware as it will cut my trip in half. I'll be up there at least once a month playing poker and betting games.

Nah. I do like the Borgata's poker room though. WOW there are some talented cocktail waitresses in very friendly outfits. Plus, it's by far the most lucrative room in AC. So many fishees. People with too much money for their own good, who have watched poker on ESPN and think they got it all figured out. If you've got patience you really can't help but win money there. At night at least. Poker during the day is a battle. That's where you run into a bunch of guys just like you....rounders killing time until the idiots show up. That's why I'll be fukn around with the ponies during the day.

Yeah. Might be worth a road trip. West VA is a loooong way away though. Delaware is like 3 hours over the Bay Bridge.
