Depends on where you are really. Here in USA, I would say generally no. A vast majority of people are in the US to begin with because their families took the gamble of coming here years ago. The stock market itself in the US controls the lives of many families and people. So I would say a gambler is not looked down on here. But if you go to a less developed country somewhere, they look at gambling as a pipedream that anyone doing it is just throwing money away on.Comment -
