Noticed the "A" on your licence. There's also a C. Thought A would cover everything else over two wheels. Is that just because of passengers? No human cargo allowed in that trailer eh....

Mine is GM. Motorcycle and car are different animals, the separation is understandable....

Nope, I'm not on the list. It would take a freak occurrence for me to be in Vegas this coming weekend. Put the odds at 100 million to 1.

The "A" is for tractor-trailer combinations, the "C" is for commercial buses. I'm licensed to drive anything except a motorcycle.

I'm going to school in May of 2010 to learn how to operate heavy equipment (front end loader/excavator/backhoe) , I've been in the construction industry (concrete - dring a ready mix truck) for a while now.
The money is good and it doesn't feel like work. Backhoe operators earn between $27 - $33 per hour here in Ontario. Making $70K a year isn't all that difficult with overtime.

I'm burnt out from driving all these years, hopefully I'll get on with a big constuction company next spring.

To answer your original question, yes I drove rigs and highway buses.

Good luck. I don't look at any construction work as being easy. Filled a couple summers when I was younger working as a labourer. Dust, noise, sun. Long hours.
