Wow - its been almost two months since Michael Jackson died
You don't hear much about the guy anymore.
We should not let his memory die. It wouldn't be right.
RIP MJ

Your being ironic I assume?
You don't hear much about the guy anymore.
If that by that you mean that "You won't hear about this guy 24/7 anymore", I agree.

Who?
Oh yeah, Farrah, cancer right? I'm treading lightly here cause I know alot of guys don't appreciate me making fun of cancer.
How many cancer victims does it take to change a light bulb?
None: they're too weak to climb the ladder.

During the Michael Jackson post-death hoopla, I never quite understood what was going on.
I mean, I know - he had some hit pop songs in the 70's and 80's. I get that. That's fine.
And then for a couple of decades he has mainly been famous for making himself look bad and having some drug issues and being charged with diddling. And he dangled a child off a balcony and did some effeminate whining and lying on 60 Minutes.
The math doesn't work for me. Those things do not add up to the fuss I saw.
I feel like I must be missing something.

Heath Ledger and Anna Nicole Smith still take the cake on celebrity death spectacles for me. Jackson was a music icon. Ledger a B-rate actor and Smith was a Playboy bunny but they got the same coverage as Jackson from what I can remember.
