    Pinnacle Country of Residence Change
Last week when someone suggesting simply chaning your country at pinnacle, would let you bet again I tried it just to see what happened. Changed it to Mexico -- where I do happen to be right now.

Got this email from Pinnacle yesterday:

    Dear Pinnacle Sports Client,

We have detected that you have changed the country of residence in your Pinnacle Sports Account. Please note: In order to successfully change your country of residency you will be required to submit proof of residency by following the instructions on the attached Residency Confirmation Form.

Please send a scanned copy with the supporting documentation to changecountry@pinnaclesports.com.

If you have already sent information to csd@pinnaclesports.com, please re-send this information to changecountry@pinnaclesports.com.

    Regards,

    Residency Verification
    Pinnacle Sports

    This is the form:

    RESIDENCY CONFIRMATION FORM

Pinnacle Sports require customers to complete this form if:

    • You have changed your country of residence in your Pinnacle Sports account, or

    • You have opened a new account but have previously had a Pinnacle Sports account with a different
    country of residence.

In order to confirm your new residency, you will be required to provide scanned copies of the following:

    • Official proof of residence. Examples include a utility bill, a telephone bill, medical bill, property
    receipt or government documentation.

    • Official photo ID œ ideally a passport or driving license.

    • Completed Residency Confirmation Form (below).

For documents to be valid they must be dated within one year and the name and address on all documents
should correspond to the exact name and address in your Pinnacle Sports account.

    CUSTOMER DETAILS

    Pinnacle Sports Account ID

    Customer Name

    ADDRESS DETAILS

    New Customer Address

    Customer Telephone Number

I confirm the above details and agree to submit the required proof of residency:

    Customer Signature

    Date

Looks like I´ve got some work to do.

I really didnt think it would be as simple as changing your country of residence.

All of us US citizens miss wagering at Pinnacle. Lost money on just about every bet.

Hmmm...this makes me wonder in fact whether sportsbooks would take "Official proof of residence" documentation at prima facie value or delve further?

As I've written before - I could easily provide accommodation addresses here in Thailand with 'photoshopped' copies of utility bills, telephone bills, etc.; I could even provide SIM cards (mobile phone number) for use with a certain VoIP program, which would give the impression you were calling from Thailand (if ever one needed to contact Customer Service).

The only problem I see then is if the sportsbooks saw an inordinate number of accounts being opened from the same street address but different apartment number - would this be a consideration for them?

You can bet that come withdraw time it would be.

(Although I suppose that insofar as you're referring specifically to Pinnacle, they'd eventually just be stopped at the door.)
