I think if there was heavy traffic they might have a problem but if the books used several people up in Canada to do the work, I think it would work. They would be the middle men and make sure you don't touch US soil one little bit though.

It costs 1.9% for each person-to-person transfer though, so that is 3.8% gone in fees (for money out and back again).

I expect a lot of foreign people will not want to break the UIGE in case they get "extradited".

Just did my first 'money transfer' to a fellow SBR member using CRIS clone Betmaker (SBR B) and FWIW, it seemed to go pretty well.

This would appear (at first glance anyway) to be a pretty good way of circumventing the US' draconian funding law. I guess the only issue then when sending money using this method; besides the possible time constraint is - trust.

Thank you Korchnoi, I have to admit that I liked your thread very much! Long story, so I won't bore anyone but suffice to say - Boy, would I love to extend a middle-digit to the US authorities and work-out how to do this on a large scale, commercial basis.

I've been doing this for US based scalpers since Oct. There were some kinks to working initially with the setup process but now its runs very smoothly. We use remote computer access and the US bettor has full control. The betting accounts are all Canadians. The transfer fees and the fees paid to myself and the Canadian hosts can be expensive. But these fees are easily made up by the US bettors collecting sign up bonuses for the Canadians. One bit of advice is do NOT ever provide false info to Neteller. Our Canadian hosts are real people with real addresses and actual broad IP connections in their homes. They are happy to help for a little money. I don't recommend using a big "shop" that has the same or similiar IP addresses even if the shop is located in Canada. Our program has brought a lot of money into Canada and Neteller makes a lots on the transfer fees. Neteller requires very stringent identity verfication for their security (even more so in Canada than the US); they will close any account that is suspect. Since we use valid people we never have a problem with it. Our Canadians call Neteller, answer questions, provide their SIN#, checking account numbers, ID and other personal info whenever needed.

I defintely think more US bettors should set up these programs. I was "hired" when 2 US bettors flew up here in Oct to interview me. It's been great steady income for me because I get paid for each Canadian I sign up and there a so many willing to do it. I have a long waiting list. My American bosses have been very happy with the results and have not had to fly back here since. It's a good set up for all involved. Of course, you should only venture into this if you are an experienced professional with a large bank roll. It does take some funding to get started. This model works well for scalpers since they have a steady income flow.

I was picked because I have good people skills and a computer background and knowlege of networking and security. Not a real guru, but good enough to solve most problems. There are many other Canadians like me who would love to get a cushy job
like this. I encourage others to try it. I don't have any extra time to take on more US bettors. But you can certainly go out and find someone like me to help you. Place an employment ad in Craigslist and go to Canada to pick someone. Canadians are generally honest, it's not hard to find someone you can trust.

from what i seen, you can do a free transfer between mansion members. that'd save some on transaction costs.
