Okay I officially suck.

I thought the little gold point thingy on the bottom of each thread was there because that particular post had been REWARDED a point. So since there wasn't ever one under my name I thought none of my posts were ever getting points and more or less everyone else was. In reality I couldn't give myself points was the reasoning.

I honestly only checked this once or twice bit though I must have missed something like signing up somewhere, etc..

Okay I get it. Thought I would ask. I suck

I'm still confused. Can someone explain exactly what these "points" are for. How you obtain them and how you bet them at sbrpicks.com. I'm slow.

Points are like money. SBR and SBR sponsors will give them out in a variety of ways. If you login once a day you will receive points. If you make at least one post a day; ditto. You can win points in the contests here. You can be given points for good posts. You can earn points for just entering some the contests and events.

You can use your points in a lot of ways;
Company store - Ever see The Price is Right? Buy cloths, laptops and even a trip to the Pro Bowl

Bet them - Bet them in SBRPicks.com or coming soon bet them in the SBR Sportsbook

Give them - Have your own contest or just give them to someone that makes a cool post

I'm not sure what they are worth. But we can kind of figure it out this weekend when the SBR store opens I would think. Eventually the points can buy free plays at the top sportsbooks. Then the value will be known for sure.

Not sure about the last question.

I don't know if you read this, but it says points will show up in your account the next day. If you are talking about yesterdays points, that would need to be looked into.

Same here. I think I made 50 posts yesterday. I've been stuck at the same points number since Friday.

BTW, I would hope that logging in is capped at once a day.

I think it makes sense to award points for logging in, but the maximum would be one time per 24 hours. Maybe 5 points if you log on that day?

I didn't receive anything for that either.

The login points will of course be awarded for 1 login a day. So you can login 30 times a day but you just get credit for the first one. If you are cookie'd in, so you are logged on when you get here that will count as your login visit for that day.

i havent gotten points for 50 posts and what if we stay logged in, do we have to log out and then back in to get points or will we be awarded for being logged in every day that it shows us on the site?

When do the points for logging in and posting at least once start? I've done that everyday and have never received any points. What does 50 posts in a day get for points? And will those points be prorated for less than 50 posts?

hoff, i believe once you past a 50 post increment in your post count, you will receive 15 points. (so once you post 1050)

and now the new amended rules suggest that that reward will only be given once a day, so if you pass two 50 post increments, you still will only be given 15 points.
also they are now saying that those points won't be rewarded immediately, rather given credit the following day.
nobody has started receiving any points for logging in yet.

so at least make 2 more posts today, and you should get 15 points tomorrow.
