Anyone know if the Nats signed that hot shot kid?

The Nats are offering Strasburg around 9 mil.
Boras knows the team is desperate, but I think he has enough brains to know that as much the Nationals want him, they are not going to shell out 50 mil for this kid. The Nats will definetly suffer if they don't sign him because Strasburg has been so highly touted. Pretty much all fans have bought in on Stras, but it's not guaranteed that he can blow away these major league hitters. AAA to ML is one thing and college to the ML is something totally different.

The Nats should offer a reasonable amount. I could even understand 20 mil. Maybe 30. Maybe. But they aren't going to break the bank for this guy.
