These recruiting class rankings are a bunch of hype. Is the kid a 4 star because he's good, or because Harbaugh is looking at him? ND went thru this with Willingham and Weis.

There are certainly variables in the rankings, but that applies to every team

They aren't so far off to explain what has happened at Michigan

They get plenty of talent

They don't have a football coach to develop that talent

Mags, it’s soooooo bad there right now. I will never make an excuse for Harbaugh. It is absolutely brutal to watch. The kids never get better and the play calling/preparation only gets worse....

This program is a joke. What happened to the guy trying to fight Carroll and Jim Schwartz on the sideline? Where did Jim go? What we have been watching is absolutely shameful. They should be embarrassed but to our point- where the fuk are they? Where is the admin? When you know, you know and they are MIA. They probably let him step down/retire and he keeps the change.

I’m telling you pal- they are more concerned with being a liberal arts school, flying rockets, getting more foreign kids in and solving climate change. It’s the sad state and it pisses me off. It was a very different school when I went there... now the student section (albeit 2020) is half empty and filled with kids that couldn’t care less about the program. We were inebriated and trying to win games and penetrate the other teams fans. The admin seems to not care whatsoever and that is probably most frustrating beyond their shit play. You and I would have AXED the guy long ago but they just don’t seem to care.

Well him bringing Michigan back from basement dweller for 8-10 yrs , to making the school 100+ million dollars(pre pandemic) every year gave him some rope for those 8-4 and 9-3 seasons...This year is the 1st time the team has fell off the rails and this is Harbaugh's last yr of contract so its going to be interesting to see how they handle it..If he had another yr left on his contract I could see letting this yr be a wash because it was gonna be down yr anyway with new everything on O..But after this debacle thats happening now I don't see how in the hell they give him another contract...I just hope JJ and the recuits in this class stay because it's a pretty good one...He is gonna have to clean dam house with Coordinators and maybe sign him 1 or 2 yr deal with low buyout..I dunno but it can't get much worse!!!! SMH

Other programs would have boosters and alumni revolting to the point of jeopardizing that money train, but not Michigan

A ham sandwich could have the same W/L record with those recruiting classes

Beat up the scrubs and get pasted by anybody with equal or better talent

Now the scrubs are beating him with far less talent

Nobody should ever look at W/L records in college football for perennial top 25 recruiting teams

Half the games played are scrimmages

You are right on. That money bought him lots of time on the Ohio State debacles but it’s so embarrassing at this point. The players have that “Shane Morris/Brady Hoke” concussion look where they flat out can’t do anything. They can’t even tackle. They just got dominate by Penn State running a basic offense and Penn State at 0-5 knew they were going to win. Our offense is an even bigger joke.

It’s really bad... most of the “old guard” alumni have been shut out by the new administration. I’m only 16 years removed but it’s just a changed place. It’s not an open door policy. They don’t care. Boosters are pissed but they’ve been shut out and the AD was college teammates with Harbaugh so he’s a “Bo guy” like that matters. Frustrating.

You are absolutely 100% correct on his arrogant hot shot bullshit. Total fraud. They made him rich beyond his wildest dreams though... to make matters worse, Detroit Lions probably make a run at him and give him a nice SE Michigan soft landing when he “steps down”
